We’re focused on reducing cold case backlog.

How can we help you?

Forensic Genetic Genealogy

We use genetic genealogy–combining autosomal DNA data with traditional genealogical research–to determine the level and type of genetic relationship between individuals. This enables us to generate investigative leads that help law enforcement identify victims and perpetrators of violent crimes.

Grants Management

We help law enforcement evaluate and manage federal program grants, such as the Sexual Assault Kit Initiative (SAKI), that aid in reducing cold case backlogs. We also provide grants support, including Progress Reporting and Analytics.

Cold Case Prioritization

We use our experience to help law enforcement focus its limited resources on cold cases that have a greater chance of being solved using Forensic Genetic Genealogy (FGG).

Cold Case Accountability Act of 2020

The Cold Case Accountability Act of 2020 supports law enforcement, victims, and families’ rights. It includes victims of unsolved homicides, sexual assaults, missing persons, kidnappings, and other unsolved crimes.

According to Murder Accountability Project, there are more than 229,000 unsolved murders in the United States. This means there are 229,000 families without answers and victims without justice. This could also mean there are 229,000 or more violent offenders still free, walking our streets, and living in our communities with that number growing by 5,000 or more every year.
